23.03.21 — D&AD Submission

After a couple of whirlwind weeks of production and development, myself, Katie and Jessie finally submitted our D&AD Menopause brief for Refinery29 and The Case for Her today — and we couldn’t be more pleased! All of our outcomes worked out perfectly, our video was entirely on tone and we executed the brief perfectly.

What this particular group project has taught me has been that communication and honesty plays such a vital role in group work. We’ve always worked really well together and have never faced any faff before, especially because we have simliar styles and attitudes to working efficiently — this makes our dynamic so effective as a trio. I can honestly say we didn’t run into any problems! On a personal level, I was a little worried about being absent or lazy as I was managing freelance where I could and working in such a small group requires really well managed commitment. However, I think all in all we have completed a really impressive final outcome to an incredible brief. I’m so looking forward to working with both Katie and Jessie for the following brief too.
